MANGALURU, FEB 6: Devotees across the city are eagerly awaiting the annual relic feast of St Anthony of Padua, set to be celebrated with grandeur on February 8th, 2024, at the Milagres Church grounds. The highlight of the festivities will be the main festive Holy Mass, celebrated at 6 pm by the esteemed Most Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Mangalore. Rev. Fr Clifford Fernandes, parish priest of Kulshekar Church, will deliver the sermon, enriching the spiritual experience.
On the Feast Day, Rev. Fr Trishan Dsouza, Bishop’s Secretary and Rev. Fr Cyprian Pinto, parish priest of Permannur Church will be celebrating morning mass at 6 am and 9:30 am at St Anthony Shram, Jeppu respectively. Rev. Fr Ebin will be celebrating Malayalam Mass at 4:30 pm at Milagres Church. Anticipation builds fora day filled with spiritual significance and community jubilation.
